Pedestrian and cyclist accessibility in the context of the rebuilding of the Nyon-Saint-Cergue railway line

The regional railway line Nyon – Saint-Cergue (NStCM) was to be adapted to integrate with the future evolutions of the served territory, in particular important urban developments and a new major road. Within an exploratory study examining the routing variants for the line (positioning and elevation) in terms of feasibility, impacts and urban integration, Tamara Bozovic provided contributions for the planning of walking and cycling networks, within Citec Ingénieurs Conseils. The deliverables were:

a vision of the actual and future pedestrian and cyclist needs for the impacted territory (local accessibility, connections and relations to the town center)
pedestrian and cyclist networks concepts, with the recommendations for the stations accessibility but also the needed crossings or infrastructure improvements
inputs for the stations’ surroundings design carried out by the urban planners
