It is again possible to travel by train between the two cities. With class, and some enthousiasm too: the trip takes 21 hours, against 9 to 11 by bus (and approximately 7 by car).

With class, as the brand new trains offer sleeping compatrments and a restaurant, but with some patience, too, regarding the 33 km/h average speed. The service is operated two times a week and has been launched before the end of the works on the infrastructure, abandoned in major part since the 90’s. In 2006, President Nestor Kirchner had announced the opening, but as the country’s first high-speed line, that would connect Buenos Aires to Cordoba with a middle stop in Rosario in 3 hours, 9 times a day (Wikipedia).
